“We made this logo in a second, and 40+ years.” – The labour perception bias.

We’re all sceptical if we’re at a fancy restaurant and the food comes out only minutes after we ordered. Why? We think high-quality food should require more time and effort.

Think again…

The speed of service and the quality of the food are not always directly related. The high-end restaurants invest heavily in equipment, technology, and well-trained staff to ensure that they can provide high-quality food quickly and efficiently.

“It’s done in a second and 34 years.”

The same goes for design. Clients may think they’re not getting their money’s worth if you solve the branding problem fast. When people see us designing a logo in a few seconds, it not just took us seconds, it took our founders together more than 40 years and a few seconds! It can appear to be quick and effortless, but in reality, it’s the result of years of experience, hard work, dedication, and a deep understanding of the industry and the needs of our clients.
Educate your clients on the value of experience and expertise. Demonstrate previous successful projects and provide references to reassure them that they are receiving a valuable service. It’s important to communicate your unique process involved in how you reach a quick and effective solution.
You’re fast? You’re good. Remember the investment you put into your skill!
